Shocking news are coming from San Antonio (USA) – where a girl was s*xually assaulted by her BJJ instructor – without the parents ever reporting the incident to the police.
According to an arrest warrant, the victim told deputies she told her parents about the abuse and instead of reporting it, they invited him over to talk.
The 40-year-old Joseph Caballero, coach at Exception Squad San Antonio, was arrested last Monday and charged with sexual assault of a child.
According to the Bear County Sheriffs office, the victim was 14 years old when the abuse happened.
And, according to the arrest warrant, Caballero got told the girls’ parents that he was in love with her and that he would wait until she was 18 so he could marry her.
Not only were the parents okay with that, but according to deputies, they never even reported it.
According to police, the abuse happened over three months at the end of 2023.
The victim told deputies that she told her parents about the abuse and instead of reporting it, they invited the instructor over to the house to talk about the allegations.
Additionally, the police has said that they’re not ruling out any additional charges, including those against the parents.
