Russian Businessman Pays $95,000 At Neymar Auction – To Join Charles Oliveira’s Fight Camp

Roman Shpigel, a Russian businessman, has made headlines by purchasing a unique experience with UFC fighter Charles Oliveira – for an astounding $95,000!

He paid the aforementioned amount during the annual Instituto Projeto Neymar auction in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Winning the bid grants him an opportunity to observe Oliveira’s training at Chute Boxe Diego Lima and then travel to the location of Oliveira’s next UFC fight.

This package includes the chance to watch Oliveira cut weight and spend the post-weigh-in day with his team, as well as two tickets to the fight itself.

Shpigel also secured two other exclusive experiences at the auction: one for $190,000 to visit Neymar’s house and another substantial sum for an experience with the Brazilian football team Flamengo.

Other auction items included a jersey from Pelé’s final match in 1977, a poker match with Neymar, a Paris Saint-Germain jersey signed by Neymar, Lionel Messi, and Luis Suárez.

The proceeds from the auction will benefit Neymar’s institute, which supports approximately 3,000 children and teenagers in Jardim Gloria, Praia Grande (Brazil).

And, as for Charles Oliveira, the UFC has not yet announced the specifics of his next fight -including the date, location, and opponent.
Oliveira’s most recent bout was a decision loss to Arman Tsarukyan in April at UFC 300.
