The Craig Jones Invitational (CJI) tournament is approaching rapidly and it continues to generate buzz with the BJJ community all around the world.
However, it appears that it’s not only this year that the CJI will take place…
As it seems that Craig Jones has managed to secure funding for 2025 as well!
That is, at the very least if it is to believe his social media video and the caption he posted to go with it:

No matter if the funding truly is secured and if the plans are already underway for its 2025 edition, CJI has already created perhaps the biggest disruption in the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments in recent history.
They tournament had already “poached” a number of athletes away from the ADCC; including the Ruotolo brothers, Mikey Musumeci, everyone from the B-Team, and much more.
So, if the 2025 tournament really does live to see the light of day as well, it’d almost certainly mean that it’s here to stay.
That it won’t be a one-off thing, but rather something that the elite athletes could be looking towards to every year or so often.
And that, quite possibly, the already enormous prize would become bigger with each passing year.
